These are some of our favorite activities, restaurants, and bars in NWA! Reach out to Rachel (508.918.0653) if you are looking for any specific suggestions :)
Fantastic collection of American art! Admission is free. There are also art and walking trails that connect to downtown Bentonville and are definitely worth a stroll. The Frank Lloyd Wright Bachman-Wilson House is also free but requires a reservation.
This is a fun outing in good weather, with or without a bike! There is an Airship coffee shop located on the trails that isn't accessible by car. It's a lovely walk in on paved paths, and there are miles of mountain bike trails around it.
You can arrange to have rental bikes delivered to Coler Mountain by calling Encore Bike Rentals at 479-341-6500.
Bike Rack Brewing Company is the main attraction at 8th St in the evenings. It has a lovely outside area with picnic tables and food trucks. It's kid-friendly!
Markham & Fitz is a chocolate shop that Rachel recommends! The COOP has great ramen and Hunter likes Yeyo's a lot.
Super fun for kids of any age!
A fun time to explore the Bentonville Square! The farmer's market is open Saturday mornings 7:30am - 1pm. There are a ton of restaurants or coffee shops around the square - they're pretty much all delicious. You can even have a robot make you a coffee.
Here are some recommendations for tasty places to eat in Bentonville! For many of these you'll want to make a reservation for a weekend night.
Bentonville Taco & Tamale: Mexican food right on the square
Berretto: Located inside Scotch + Soda just off the square, Berretto is a hidden Italian food gem
Conifer: Farm to Table and magically gluten-free
Lady Slipper: Small plates and cocktails with great ambience
Oven & Tap: Pizza and southern-inspired food
Pressroom: A fun spot with seasonal American food
Table Mesa: An old standby with tasty Latin blend cuisine
Tavola Trattoria: Casual Italian bistro vibes
The Hive: Located inside the 21C hotel, this restaurant has a fun but upscale feel
The Preacher's Son: Delicious, and the space is very cool. It is also secretly entirely gluten-free. You can also visit the Undercroft, a speakeasy-like bar in the basement that also usually has most of the same food available.
Tusk & Trotter: American gastropub
Bar Cleeta: Pricey but has delicious small plates, oysters, and craft cocktails
This is a smaller market than Bentonville's, but a lovely time to see the downtown Fayetteville square! The market is set up on Saturdays until 2pm. Grab a coffee at Arsaga's and some breakfast from a food truck and stroll.
BRUNCH
Prelude Breakfast Bar: a smaller place with really good breakfast
Mockingbird Kitchen: not much ambience, but good food
DINNER
Leverett Lounge: delicious and a very Fayetteville vibe
Eclectic Kitchen: don't let the building fool you, the food is amazing
Atlas: fancy and delicious
Rolando's: a unique Mexican spot
DRINKS
The Vault: Rachel thinks they have the very best cocktails
Guisinger: A great spot for a group to go hang out
Outdoor restaurant with burgers, weekend bbq, beer, and margaritas. Super kid-friendly with a large gravel play area.
Sit out on the terraced decks and enjoy a glass of wine!
Yellow Rock Trail at Devil's Den State Park is probably the hiking trail with the best ROI near Fayetteville! It's extra pretty in the fall. It's a quick 2.6 mile loop.
Modern art (if you're into that) and a coffee + cocktails bar. It's located right near 8th St Market.
